Professor McDonnell is a Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge and Consultant Knee and Hip Surgeon working at Addenbrookes Hospital. He undertook his research MD and orthopaedic surgical training in Oxford, based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
